See Japan.
Get to know it.
SMALL-GROUP JOURNEYS THROUGH THE JAPAN I LOVE
Walk it, eat it and experience it with someone who has spent a lifetime moving between Japanese and Australian culture.
I’m Sachi.
Meet your host
Half Japanese, half Australian, and someone who has spent a lifetime moving between the two cultures I call home.
Japan has never just been somewhere I travel to. It’s family, food, language, traditions and memories. My mum is from Kyushu, and some of my favourite experiences have come from everyday moments—wandering local neighbourhoods, finding a tiny restaurant down a side street, and visiting makers and family-run businesses.
I don’t want to show you Japan from the window of a tour bus. I want you to walk it, eat it, experience it and understand a little more about the culture along the way.
“My hope is that you leave feeling like you didn’t just visit Japan—you got to know it.”
